How a coating day goes
Wash and decontaminate
Hand wash, iron remover, clay bar. The paint has to be bare before anything will bond to it.
Correct the paint
Swirls and light scratches machine-polished out where the paint needs it. A coating locks in whatever is under it, so this comes first.
Apply the coating
System X, by hand, one section at a time, inside the Oakdale shop. Glass, wheels and trim are coated on every package.
Cure and hand back
One to two days in the shop, then it goes home with the System X warranty for its tier.
Level 3 is the top of our three ceramic tiers, and the only one that goes beyond a decade. It uses the same System X coating as Level 1 and Level 2, applied to a higher standard and backed for longer.
How the three tiers compare
Level 2 is the tier most Stanislaus County customers pick. Level 3 is for owners keeping the car long term, or for a finish that has to stay showroom rather than merely protected.
Who Level 3 is actually for
If you are keeping the vehicle five years or more, the longer coating usually costs less per year than replacing a shorter one part way through. If the car is a weekend or collector vehicle that spends most of its life covered, Level 2 is often the more sensible spend, and we will tell you so.

A ceramic coating is done at the shop and is a 1 to 2 day job, so plan to be without the car for that long. On our calendar, two out of three jobs go in within a week of the first message and four out of five within two.
How much?
Level 1 (3 year) starts at $995, Level 2 (6 year) at $1,300 and Level 3 (10 year, lifetime warranty) at $1,750. Trucks and SUVs sit higher in the range, and the paint's condition on arrival decides how much correction it needs first. Where are you, and do you come to me?
At the shop: 604 Hedburg Way Unit 12, Oakdale CA 95361, open Monday to Saturday, 8:30am to 6:00pm. A ceramic coating is not a mobile job; it has to be applied indoors and left to cure, so you drop off and pick up. If you want a detail as well, that part can be done at your home or work.
Is the top tier a 10 year warranty or a lifetime one?
There is one top tier, not two. Level 3 is $1,750 and the warranty on it is lifetime. The 10 year and lifetime options the old pricing showed as separate choices were always the same tier, and Evan confirmed that on 8 September 2026.
Is it worth going past Level 2?
It depends how long you are keeping the car. Level 2 at six years suits most owners. Level 3 makes sense when the vehicle is staying with you longer than that.
Do you correct the paint first?
Always. A ceramic coating locks in whatever is underneath it, so the correction stage is what decides how the finish actually looks. Level 1 is single stage, Level 2 is two stage, and Level 3 is specified per car.
How long will my car be with you?
Longer than a detail, because the correction work is what takes the time. We will give you a realistic collection time when we quote.
Ceramic or PPF?
Ceramic coating gives gloss, easier washing and chemical resistance, from $995. Paint protection film is a thicker, self-healing film that stops rock chips and scratches, quoted per vehicle.
