Ceramic coating, paint protection film, window tint and detailing for Lathrop, CA, at our own shop in Oakdale, straight out along Highway 120.
Lathrop sits where the I-5, the 120 and the 205 meet, and a lot of the traffic on them is trucks. Gravel and grit thrown up by a loaded truck at freeway speed is what chips a windshield and sandblasts the front of a car, and a daily drive through River Islands and onto the interchange collects it fast.
Add a long, hot summer and very hard groundwater, and you have the three things that age paint in this part of the valley: chips on the front, sun on the roof and hood, and water spots that bake on wherever a sprinkler or a hose wash leaves droplets.

Paint protection film is a clear layer fitted over the paint. The grit hits the film instead of the paintwork, and light marks heal in the sun. We fit STEK film at the shop. A full front, covering the hood, fenders, bumper, headlights, mirrors and grille, starts from $1,500 for a car, and every full film package includes a lifetime ceramic coating at no extra cost.

Prices may change based on the vehicle's size and condition.
A ceramic coating bonds to the paint and leaves a slick, water-shedding surface. Water beads and runs off instead of drying into spots, and dirt rinses away instead of needing scrubbing. We use System X, with manufacturer warranties from three years to lifetime, and every coating starts with paint correction so it locks in a clean finish rather than the swirls underneath.

Ceramic window tint blocks a large share of the heat coming through the glass, which is the difference between a car you can get into at 4pm in August and one you cannot. We fit standard and ceramic film, quoted per vehicle.

If the car does the freeway every day, film on the front end is what stops chips, and a coating keeps the rest easy to clean. If it mostly stays local, a coating on its own is often enough, and we will tell you which.
It stops most of them forming, because water runs off instead of drying in place. Spots already etched into the paint need correcting first, and correction is included in every coating.
