How a coating day goes
Wash and decontaminate
Hand wash, iron remover, clay bar. The paint has to be bare before anything will bond to it.
Correct the paint
Swirls and light scratches machine-polished out where the paint needs it. A coating locks in whatever is under it, so this comes first.
Apply the coating
System X, by hand, one section at a time, inside the Oakdale shop. Glass, wheels and trim are coated on every package.
Cure and hand back
One to two days in the shop, then it goes home with the System X warranty for its tier.

How to Maintain Your 3-Year Coating
Touchless rinses every 2 to 3 weeks. Hand wash with pH-neutral soap monthly. Avoid automatic brush washes (they cause swirl marks on any finish, ceramic or not). Skip the gas-station car wash spray-on protectant, since it can interfere with the coating chemistry.
That's it. The coating does the heavy lifting for the next 3 years.
Wash Regularly (or Let Us Do It for You)
Even with a coating, regular washes are still necessary, ideally every 2 to 3 weeks. Use a pH-neutral car shampoo, a soft microfiber mitt, and the two-bucket method to reduce the risk of swirls. When can you do it?
Usually within the week. Text the year, make and model to (209) 318-3605 and we come back with a drop-off day and a pick-up time. A ceramic coating is done at the shop and is a 1 to 2 day job, so plan to be without the car for that long. On our calendar, two out of three jobs go in within a week of the first message and four out of five within two.

Where are you, and do you come to me?
At the shop: 604 Hedburg Way Unit 12, Oakdale CA 95361, open Monday to Saturday, 8:30am to 6:00pm. A ceramic coating is not a mobile job; it has to be applied indoors and left to cure, so you drop off and pick up. If you want a detail as well, that part can be done at your home or work.
Will the 3-year tier last longer than 3 years?
Often yes, with proper maintenance. The 3-year warranty is conservative. Many customers see 4-5 years of effective protection before they want to refresh. After 3 years the manufacturer warranty ends, but the coating doesn't suddenly fail.
Can I upgrade from Level 1 to Level 2 partway through?
Not on the same install. The current coating would need to be removed, then a higher-tier coating applied. Most Level 1 customers go Level 2 or 3 on their next vehicle.
Why is Level 1 only $995 when I see ceramic quoted at $1,500 elsewhere?
Our $995 includes multi-stage paint correction and every surface coated, body, glass, wheels and trim, with the System X manufacturer warranty. Other shops charging more aren't including more. They're just charging more.
Will Level 1 work for my truck?
Yes, with sizing upcharge. Standard pickup adds $150 to the starting price. Crew cab long bed adds more. We'll quote your specific truck after photos.
Does Level 1 come with the same paint correction as higher tiers?
Level 1 includes single-stage paint correction. Level 2 and 3 add deeper correction stages. If your paint is in rough shape we may recommend stepping up to Level 2 for the deeper correction work.
Is Level 1 right for a leased vehicle?
Perfect match. The 3-year warranty period lines up with a typical 36-month lease. You get protection for the entire lease term and prevent lease-end paint damage charges.
Ceramic or PPF?
Ceramic coating gives gloss, easier washing and chemical resistance, from $995. Paint protection film is a thicker, self-healing film that stops rock chips and scratches, quoted per vehicle.
