Questions We Get Every Day
How long does it take?
Most vehicles take 1-2 days depending on the package and paint condition. We know it's your daily driver, so we work around your schedule, including weekends. Drop off in the morning, pick up the next day.
Do I have to leave my car overnight?
Usually yes, because the coating needs time to cure properly. But we'll coordinate timing that works for you. Some jobs can be same-day depending on scope.
Why is your price higher than the cheap guy on Facebook?
Because we actually prep the paint first. Cheap coatings skip paint correction and/or real prep work. They seal swirl marks and scratches UNDER the coating. Our process is 8-16 hours of hands-on work: decontamination, clay bar, machine correction, THEN coating. You're paying for the prep that makes the coating worth having.
What's the difference between the 3 packages?
Duration of protection and warranty. All three include the same full prep and correction process. 3-Year for leases, 6-Year for daily drivers (most popular), Lifetime for the car you'll never sell.
Can you remove scratches and swirl marks?
Yes, paint correction is included in every package. We remove 50-90% of surface imperfections depending on which package you get for correction. Deep scratches that catch your fingernail may not fully come out, but we'll be upfront about that before we start.
Is it worth it on an older car?
Absolutely. Paint correction removes years of damage and the coating locks in that fresh look. We've transformed 10+ year old trucks that look brand new.

How long does a ceramic coating last?

Will it remove scratches and swirl marks?
Our process includes real paint correction to remove swirls and light scratches before we coat. The coating then protects against new minor marring, but no coating is a scratch-proof shield, and we'll always tell you straight what correction your paint can and can't take.

Do you come to me, or do I drop off?
Ceramic coatings are done in our Oakdale shop, because a controlled, dust-free environment is essential for a proper cure and bond. (We also offer mobile detailing, but coatings are always installed in-shop.) Most installs take 1.5 to 2 days with full curing.
