Why Tesla Owners Protect the Front End
A Tesla's front end is a clean, unbroken sweep of paint: no grille to break it up, a low nose, and a long hood that meets the road debris head on. That is what makes it look good, and it is also why chips on it are so visible. What We Fit
Paint protection film is a clear urethane layer fitted over the paint. Rocks and road grit hit the film, not the paintwork, and light marks in the film heal in the sun. From a couple of feet away you cannot tell it is there, which matters on a car people look at closely.
We fit STEK film, in a controlled bay at 604 Hedburg Way in Oakdale, with clean air, proper light and time for the film to settle.
The Packages
- Full front, from $1,500. Hood, both front fenders, the front bumper, headlights and mirrors. This is what most Model Y and Model 3 owners choose, because it covers where commuting damage actually lands.
- Track pack, $2,650 to $3,250. The full front plus the rocker panels, the A-pillars and the other areas gravel finds.
- Full body, $5,000+. Every painted panel. For owners keeping the car long term or wanting the whole thing protected.
Every full film package includes a lifetime ceramic coating at no extra cost. The coating goes over the film and the rest of the paint, so the whole car sheds water and rinses clean.

Film, Coating or Both
They solve different problems. Film is a physical layer that stops rock chips. A coating is a hard, slick layer that resists sun, water spots and dirt, and makes washing easy, but it will not stop a rock. On a Tesla that does freeway miles, the usual answer is film on the front and a coating everywhere, which is exactly what a full film package with the included coating gives you. Ceramic Tint for the Glass
A Tesla's glass roof and big windows let in a lot of heat on a valley afternoon. Ceramic window tint on the side and rear windows is $395, down from $500 for a limited time, and keeps the cabin noticeably cooler. Standard film is $299. Front windshield film is quoted with the rest.

Should I film the car straight after delivery?
That is the best time, because film protects the paint that is there, it does not hide damage. If you have already picked up a chip or two, we will tell you honestly which ones the film will sit over and which are worth touching up first.
Do you need the car for long?
A full front is usually one day. A track pack or full body is longer. You get the exact time with your quote.
Does the coating come free with any film?
It comes with every full film package: full front, track pack or full body.
Will film change how the car looks?
From a couple of feet away it does not show. The finish stays glossy.
